Error message on opening a PDF file in Ability

PDF is specifically designed by Adobe for viewing and printing documents. It is not designed as an editable file format. If you create a PDF file in Ability, it cannot be edited. You will need to edit the source document and resave the PDF.

Please note that you if you attempt to open a PDF file in Write, you will get the message W107F32W.DLL not found. Write is trying to find a filter to open this format but has failed (in fact, the filter does not exist).

Note that PDF files should not be associated with Ability - they should be associated with the Adobe PDF reader. See also Knowledge Base Article 109: Trying to open a file and the Ability logo stays on screen.
