Ability Office 5

Version 5 was released summer 2008 and included the following improvements over version 4:

	Write - autoshapes, sections, autocorrect of sentence case, advanced search and replace, table of contents, improved Word import.
	Presentation - improved PPT import/export, export to HTML, spell check and grammar tools integration, object transparency, PNG alpha channel, metafiles, solid fills opacity.
	Database - advanced query designer, relationship manager.
	Photoalbum - export to HTML (create Web gallery), EXIF properties, thumbnail cache for quicker loading.
	Spreadsheet - Excel compatible custom number format, defined print areas, cell property task pane, autoshape support.
	Photopaint - dynamic brush shape/jitter/scatter, filter sequences and stack, texture generation.
	Draw - completely new vector based application to replace old Draw. Now uses the same engine as Presentation to support the ppt format.
	Launcher - new application to replace launcher toolbar. Launcher is now a system tray application for two click launch of applications and documents.
