Overview

Ability Plus 3.0 (for DOS), released in August 1995, is a direct descendent of the award winning Ability integrated package released in 1985 by Migent. It brings the main software elements required by businesses - Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Database, Graphs - into a single, mature program. In a number of releases, Ability Plus has been modernized to support the latest hardware and operating systems: fonts, mouse, extended memory, protect mode and super VGA.

Ability's success has always been based on ease of use and a feature list that represents value for money. In particular, the integration between the modules remains exceptional - the "live" manner of included fields and spreadsheets inside word processor and the way in which the menus are updated to reflect the current object pre-dates similar functionality only recently made possible by OLE 2 and Microsoft Windows.

Ability Plus 3.0 remains a truly productive software package.
