Do I need a CD for backup purposes?

Short answer: No.

Please note you can always re-install directly from our web site. This is the recommended method (should re-install be required) because it ensures you have the the most up-to-date program files (since we make updates to Ability periodically). See Knowledge Base Article 13: How do I re-install? for more detail.

Having said that, if you do have a CD burner, it's possible to make your own CD of Ability. See Knowledge Base Article 22: Zip version for more detail.
