Can't see pictures in Write - all I get is an icon

Symptom: Typically this will be a picture file inserted into Write - the graphic doesn't display and only an icon is visible.

Cause: Write requires a "server" to display the image. This is some other program that is able to display the particular picture format through OLE.

Solution: Use Photopaint to be the default application associated with Jpegs. To do this, start Ability Photopaint, select Tools/Options/Associations (or File/Preferences/Associations in versions earlier than Photopaint 2002) and check the image type you want.
