How to add Ability icons to Desktop, Quick Launch toolbar and Start menu

These instructions apply to Windows XP

Pin to start menu

Select Start/Programs/Ability Office 4/
Right-click over the program you want to put on the start menu
Select Pin to Start Menu

Add to Quick Launch Toolbar

The Quick Lanch Toolbar appears on the Windows Taskbar, next to the Start button. If you cannot see this toolbar, right-click over an empty area of the Taskbar, select Toolbars and ensure that Quick Launch is selected (ticked).

Select Start/Programs/Ability Office 4/
Right-click over the program you want to add to Quick Launch
Select Copy
Right-click over the right-most edge of the Quick Lanuch toolbar and select Open Folder. Note this can be a bit tricky as you have to click in exactly the right place - not over an application button. If you see >> on the Quick Lanuch toolbar you can right-click on it twice.
Right-click and select Paste and close the folder.

Add to Desktop

Select Start/Programs/Ability Office 4/
Right-click over the program you want to add to Quick Launch
Select Copy
Bring the Desktop to the front (e.g. right-click over the taskbar and select Show the desktop.
Right-click and select Paste
